A holistic hairdresser has brought her vision to life after opening her first salon in Stourport.
Shirl Ariton has more than 25 years of experience as a hairdresser and has worked at numerous salons during her career as well as previously operating from her home.
Despite her experience in the industry, Ms Ariton wanted to provide a welcoming space for clients that could offer both hair and wellbeing treatments after she trained to become a reflexologist.
The self-employed hairdresser said: "My vision behind my business is to make my clients feel amazing on the inside and the outside when they leave the salon.
"I have a lovely salon space for a one-to-one client basis. To make you feel truly relaxed and pampered there will be a complimentary hand and arm massage while your colour is taking.
"Fresh coffee from beans, a range of teams and hot chocolates will also be available for refreshments. The salon will be open from Monday to Friday. Yes you heard that right, we're open on a Monday."
The salon, also called Shirl Ariton, officially opened last month and it is located at 4 High Street.
The launch event was well attended with lots of people coming to show their support.
The well-being treatments will be offered either alongside the hair appointment or immediately following it.
The salon is open on Monday from 9.30am until 5.30pm, Tuesday and Wednesday from 12pm to 8pm, Thursday from 9.30am to 5.30pm and Friday from 9.30am to 4pm.
