A Bewdley-based distillery is set to serve its signature drink onboard international flights from the UK.

Wildjac, which is an independent spirits brand based in Wyre Forest, will offer its Cherry Wood Spiced Rum on easyJet flights departing from Bristol and London Gatwick Airport.

The drinks are available in Alumini® 5cl bottles with the company seeing the "ground-breaking release" as a mark towards independent businesses getting more recognition.

Managing Director at Wildjac, Ashleigh Bourne, said: "I am thrilled to announce the launch of our Alumini bottle on easyJet flights. Being an independent Bewdley-based distillery committed to sustainability and community, partnering with a renowned company like easyJet is an exciting opportunity for us.

"Our spirits, crafted with foraged botanicals from the Worcestershire countryside, reflect our dedication to premium quality and environmental responsibility.

"We are proud to represent Wyre Forest and to be showcased by such a prominent company and look forward to sharing our premium, sustainable spirits with travellers around the world."

The Cherry Wood Spiced Rum is crafted from barrel-aged rum sourced from Barbados and South America and is infused with cherry fruit and vanilla oak.

The rum will also be available in 70cl paper bottles at Gatwick and Bristol Airport duty-free.

Like the Alumini® bottles, which were developed by David Mills and Sustainaholics, the paper bottles are easily recyclable.

Director of inflight retail at easyJet, Simon Cox, added: "At easyJet, we are always looking to enhance our customer experience. Whether it's our delicious on-the-go food and snacks, duty-free shopping or onboard beverages.

"We are delighted to be offering our customers even more choice as we welcome Worcestershire-based distillery Wildjac."
