The following cases were heard at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court this week. 

CARL DIXON, of Mount Pleasant, Redditch, indicated a guilty plea following a theft from B&Q in Redditch. 

He is accused of stealing a Makita Planer to the value of £170 on January 11. 

Dixon also pleaded guilty to failing to answer to court/police bail as soon as practicable. 

He was been sentenced to a community order and must comply with rehabilitation.

WESLEY BARKER, of Windsor Drive, Kidderminster, indicated a guilty plea to a burglary at a dwelling and theft without violence between October 6, 2023, and October 9, 2023. 

He was accused of stealing a bottle of vodka to the value of £20. 

Barker has also pleaded guilty to failing to answer to court/police bail as soon as practicable without reasonable cause. 

He has been sentenced to a community order and must comply with rehabilitation.

KEVIN BUTT, of Catkins Close, Bromsgrove indicated a guilty plea to committing a public nuisance by indecently exposing himself on January 27. 

Butt also indicted a guilty plea to racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment/alarm/distress with words/writing on January 27 as well as indicating a guilty plea to threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place and assault by beating of an emergency worker. 

He changed his plea to guilty on charges relating to driving without third-party insurance and driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that class.

He has been remanded on conditional bail with his next hearing in magistrates' court set for March 8. 

TOBIAS OBRIEN, of Westminster Road, Kidderminster, pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without third-party insurance on November 23, 2023, at Belbroughton. 

He also pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence. 

He was ordered to pay costs and received a suspended sentence order.
