A trial date has been set after a man pleaded not guilty to smashing three shop windows in the town centre over the weekend. 

Jason Baker, aged 52, of Windermere House, Hurcott Road, Kidderminster, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court yesterday (Tuesday, January 30) charged with three counts of criminal damage to property under £5,000. 

The 52-year-old has pleaded not guilty to all three offences.

The charges are in relation to an incident on Sunday, January 28 where the windows at three shops in the town centre, Caffe Nero, Greggs and Clintons Cards, were all damaged. 

West Mercia Police are treating the three incidents of criminal damage as linked.

Following the hearing yesterday, a trial date has now been set for Wednesday, April 24 at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court.
