A MAN found guilty of sexual assault has been hit with a restraining order and must carry out unpaid work.

Matthew Borkowski, of Ankerdyne Avenue, Stourport, was charged with sexual assault on a female and stalking without fear, alarm, or distress.

The 39-year-old denied committing the offences, which both happened in March this year in Kidderminster.

The defendant appeared at Worcester Justice Centre on September 5, where the court found him guilty of the offences.

He was given a community order where he must carry out rehabilitation activity and was ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work.

A restraining order was also made prohibiting him from contacting the victim of stalking directly or indirectly. He must also not enter two roads in Kidderminster.

He was also ordered to pay £135 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
